FAQs

FAQs

  • What/Who is Clements Squash Club?

Clements Squash Club (CSC) is run by its members, we happen to play at Clements Hall, but in no other way are we connected with the centre.

  • What do I get?

The club can be whatever you make of it.  For your membership you basically get:

Membership of the leagues to play in about every 6 weeks.

Membership of England Squash with emailed newsletters and offers. If you register with them on-line you get access to discounts & offers nationally.

We run club competitions throughout the year - all standards, including a handicap, lower league and age restricted comps

There is a pre-Christmas fun night for the first 25 or so to sign up and it is free!

A regular club night every Tuesday and is very popular

You could also join the committee and promote other activities – we could use a social secretary to organise more events for example.

It is a case of getting involved by doing  – there is no such thing as  “why don’t they do xxx?” because  “they” is actually “you” (or me or whoever is prepared to do something)

  • How do I join CSC?

Email the committee at csc@clementssquash.org and instructions will be forthcoming.

  • What about Clements Hall Centre membership?

You do not need any form of centre membership to play at the centre, however most CSC members find it convenient and cheaper to have “centre” membership.

  • How do I join a league?

A number of options exist and are detailed in the League Rules page.

Unless you are a total beginner you will not be in the lowest league for long even if you start there because we have a very wide standard of membership and the league is designed so you rise quickly if you win.
